Amanda completed her Diplomas of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) Acupuncture (3 yrs) and Western Phytotherapy(Herbal Medicine) program (3 yrs) at Pacific Rim College in Victoria B.C. She is registered and in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia(CTCMA), as well as with the British Columbia Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Practitioners(ATCMA)

Working in the spa industry as an esthetician for over 16 years, she noticed the constant correlation of people having internal imbalances that were often presenting on their skin. In Chinese medicine, the skin is used as just one of the many diagnostic tools in identifying imbalance. Tongue and Pulse diagnosis have been used for centuries as windows into the bodies internal systems. Through the use of Acupuncture and Herbal medicine,

Amanda is able to join her patients in their health journey in achieving a healthy balance that they can maintain.

Amanda is an attentive listener, with the goal of working with people in partnership on their health, by providing a well-rounded treatment plan.

This includes recommendations for improving their diet, lifestyle and holistic well-being. She provides Traditional Chinese modalities such as acupuncture, cupping, moxabustion, gua sha, and tui na. Also, she offers customized herbal formulas and personal care products for most acute and/or chronic health concerns.
